Halloween, Haircuts and Growing Up!

After Melissa scored her medal at the Halloween Half Marathon, we napped and took our excited daughter's, in their costumes, trick and/or treating. We did our traditional thing and went over to my buddy JK's house. His neighborhood is very kid friendly and our girls always get loaded up with candy, this year being no exception. I like this area because even the adults get into the festivities.

I chose not to wear my Halloween Half Marathon Costume, and as you can see, it was for good reason. We had a great time in JK's neighborhood. Here are some pictures.

What I don't have any pictures of, are the tons of bug bites the girls got when we were manning the water-station for the runner's at the race. I sprayed each of the girls with an ample amount of repellent, but it seems it didn't work too well on them. Of course I hardly got bit at all. The poor girls were itching for days.

Angelica's Mom took her to get her permit to drive. Is she 15 already??? I'm so proud of her. She is excelling beyond belief in everything she attempts.

We took the girl's for their haircut's today. Aside from my having the "Daddy Look", (not that I was bored, but was tired from my 12 mile run early this morning),
and the girls getting the giggles while we waited turns, everyone enjoyed getting their new style's.

I was even thinking about cutting my hair, which I have been letting grow since Sept, but I said, Nah.
