She completed the race in 3:05, finishing exhausted, but glad that she accomplished her goal. She never dreamed of running this far, before earlier this year. The girls and I volunteered at the last water stop and egged Mom to continue through her last mile. 
She joined the local Galloway runner's group,
which runs out of the local Fleet Feet runner's store. She joined with a few friend's and made a bunch while training for this 1/2 marathon.I'm so proud of her accomplishment,
that I've already run out and bought her a 13.1 sticker and put it on her car.
