Today was the opening day for registration in the Boston Marathon. Unfortunately, it was also the closing day and I tried to register too late. I'm sorry to say, but I will NOT be running the Boston Marathon in 2011. Had I known that people were going to register like it was a Bruce Sprinsteen concert, I would have been on the computer first thing at 9am, when registration opened. Unfortunately, I, like many other REAL people, have to work, and don't have access to the internet as I drive around delivering packages. I started work today at 8:45am and punched out at 6:48pm. Registration closed at 5:03pm. UGH, so much for running Boston at 45 years old.
